Most people know me as Alex. I am a visual storyteller who strongly believes that each of us carry stories within our life journey - stories that can inspire, teach, and help others lead better lives. My passion for film began at a young age, when my parents handed me a box of classic VHS tapes - sparking a lifelong fascination with the magic of movies.

That passion led me to earn a Bachelor's degree in Filmmaking, followed by a Master’s in fine arts, during which I completed my first feature film. For nearly a decade, I’ve worked as a freelance cinematographer, crafting human-centered stories across a broad spectrum of visual formats.

Collaboration is at the heart of what I do. Whether I'm working with fellow creatives or helping someone express a personal journey, I believe that every project is an opportunity to build meaningful narratives that resonate. Even when the goal is to promote a brand, product, high-end event, or someone else’s artistic journey, I see the emotional thread that ties the story together — and that’s where, I believe, the real impact lies.
I specialize in cinematography, but my experience extends across the entire filmmaking process - from editing and narrative development to lighting, directing, color grading, and sound design. These are all essential elements of visual storytelling, and I know how to guide each one to ensure they work together seamlessly in service of your story.

I also bring a competitive edge to my work. Growing up (prior to pursuing a career within film), I was a star athlete on a winning team and something of a sore loser - which pushed me to excel in everything I pursue (because I didn’t like to lose).
